The Design Story

Forged iron in metallic gold leaf suspends clear acrylic bars around a generously beveled rectangular mirror.

The Gabrielle Mirror builds its frame from contrast: forged iron finished in metallic gold leaf is interrupted by clear acrylic square bars that appear to float around the reflective center. The transparent elements break up the perimeter, allowing the wall color and light behind the frame to become part of the composition.

A generous 1.25-inch bevel sharpens the mirror edge while the 37.5-by-27.5-inch scale gives Gabrielle enough presence for an entryway, dining room, or home office. The result is polished but not visually dense—the gold provides structure and warmth, while the acrylic introduces lightness between the metal elements.

The Gabrielle Mirror styled in a contemporary interior, showing its scale and material character in room context.

Material Character

The Nature of the Piece

Gabrielle depends on the relationship between opaque metal and transparent acrylic. The forged iron carries a metallic gold-leaf finish, while the clear bars interrupt that surface and allow light and wall color to remain visible through portions of the frame.

The mirror glass adds a third reflective behavior through its broad beveled edge. Together, metal, acrylic, and glass create layers of opacity, transparency, and reflection without requiring an overly heavy silhouette.

Additional Information

No two homes come together in quite the same way—and neither do the pieces chosen for them. Our collection brings together furnishings and objects from a variety of makers and manufacturers, each with its own production schedules, shipping methods, and delivery options.

We consider those differences part of the process of sourcing pieces with character. Whether an item arrives by parcel within days, travels by freight, or is prepared especially for your order, our focus remains the same: selecting pieces worth bringing into your home and making the journey from their source to your space as thoughtful as possible.

A well-considered home isn't assembled all at once. It takes shape piece by piece, through objects chosen not simply to fill a space, but to make that space feel like home.
