The Design Story

Three compact petrified-wood spheres reduce irregular mineralized patterning to pure geometry, giving natural material a deliberate graphic rhythm.

The Palu Petrified Wood Sphere Set takes a material defined by irregular pattern and gives it the most controlled geometry possible. Three equal-scale spheres create repetition and calm, while brown, black, cream, gray, and tan markings keep every surface visually active.

Because no two pieces are the same, the set works less like matching accessories and more like a small collection of related specimens. Group them tightly in a bowl or tray, or separate the spheres across a tabletop to let the individual patterning carry the composition.

Design Highlights

  1. 01 Petrified Wood — The set is made from genuine petrified wood rather than printed or faux stone pattern.
  2. 02 Three-Piece Geometry — Repeated four-inch spheres create a disciplined form that balances the organic material.
  3. 03 Natural Pattern Variation — Dark brown, black, tan, cream, and gray markings vary from sphere to sphere.
  4. 04 Flexible Styling — The set can be grouped in a bowl or tray or spaced independently across a coffee table, shelf, or desk.

Material Character

The Nature of the Piece

Petrified wood brings both wood-derived pattern and stone-like density to the set. Each sphere displays its own color breaks, veining-like bands, and irregular markings, so the three pieces relate without ever appearing identical.

No two sets should be expected to match the photography exactly; variation is the material character.

Additional Information

No two homes come together in quite the same way—and neither do the pieces chosen for them. Our collection brings together furnishings and objects from a variety of makers and manufacturers, each with its own production schedules, shipping methods, and delivery options.

We consider those differences part of the process of sourcing pieces with character. Whether an item arrives by parcel within days, travels by freight, or is prepared especially for your order, our focus remains the same: selecting pieces worth bringing into your home and making the journey from their source to your space as thoughtful as possible.

A well-considered home isn't assembled all at once. It takes shape piece by piece, through objects chosen not simply to fill a space, but to make that space feel like home.
