The Design Story

A compact 27-inch sunburst mirror built from curled gold-finished rays around a crisp round center.

The Bérénice Mirror compresses the drama of a classic sunburst into a disciplined 27-inch scale. Narrow curled rays repeat around a 12.4-inch round mirror, creating a dense radial frame whose movement comes from repetition rather than oversized proportion.

The gold finish catches light across the layered spokes while the small mirrored center keeps the composition decorative and sculptural. At just 3.5 inches deep, Bérénice can bring a strong metallic gesture above a console, within a collected wall arrangement, or as a focused accent where a larger mirror would overwhelm the architecture.

Design Highlights

  1. 01 27-Inch Sunburst Scale — The compact overall diameter delivers radial impact without requiring an oversized wall.
  2. 02 Curled Radial Spokes — Repeated narrow rays bend into looped, ribbon-like forms that give the frame depth and visual rhythm.
  3. 03 Gold-Finished Iron — Iron is the primary frame material, carrying a warm gold finish rather than implying solid brass or gold construction.
  4. 04 12.4-Inch Center Mirror — A smaller round mirrored center keeps the surrounding sunburst frame as the dominant sculptural element.

Material Character

The Nature of the Piece

The frame derives its presence from repetition: narrow metal rays sit close together, then curl and overlap as they move toward the perimeter. That layered construction gives the 3.5-inch-deep profile more dimensionality than a flat stamped sunburst.

The gold coloration is a finish over the frame rather than a precious-metal construction. The source lists the product as 80% iron and 20% resin; separate manufacturer wording also uses the term “plastic,” so the secondary-material terminology is retained as a source discrepancy rather than upgraded to a more premium claim.

Additional Information

No two homes come together in quite the same way—and neither do the pieces chosen for them. Our collection brings together furnishings and objects from a variety of makers and manufacturers, each with its own production schedules, shipping methods, and delivery options.

We consider those differences part of the process of sourcing pieces with character. Whether an item arrives by parcel within days, travels by freight, or is prepared especially for your order, our focus remains the same: selecting pieces worth bringing into your home and making the journey from their source to your space as thoughtful as possible.

A well-considered home isn't assembled all at once. It takes shape piece by piece, through objects chosen not simply to fill a space, but to make that space feel like home.
