The Design Story

A low rectangular tray assembled in jagged bands of blue and ivory bone, turning surface pattern into structure.

The Nadene Tray uses a simple low rectangle as a frame for a much more animated surface. Blue and ivory bone are hand-applied in alternating jagged bands, creating a graphic rhythm that shifts across the tray without relying on printed pattern or applied ornament alone.

At 16.25 inches wide, Nadene has enough scale to register clearly on a kitchen island, buffet, entry console, or bedroom surface while remaining visually low. The blue-and-ivory palette works particularly well against dark wood, warm brass, pale stone, and saturated upholstery, where the tray can act as a controlled geometric counterpoint.

The Nature of the Piece

Nadene’s surface is built from individual pieces of blue and ivory bone, so the pattern has physical seams, edges, and tonal transitions rather than the flat continuity of a printed graphic. The alternating colors create a crisp jagged rhythm across the low rectangular form.

Because the bone is hand-applied, the eye reads the surface as assembled and tactile even from a distance. The contrast between saturated blue and soft ivory gives the material enough definition to hold its own against stone, wood, metal, or richly colored textiles.

We accept returns with prior authorization within 21 days. We will deduct a 25% restocking fee and return shipping from your refund. Returns must be in original condition, uninstalled (if applicable), and in original packaging.

Shipping

Complimentary standard shipping is included on all orders. Smaller items typically ship by parcel carrier, while larger furniture, oversized pieces, and heavy natural stone items may ship by freight.

For freight deliveries, the carrier will contact you directly using the phone number provided with your order to arrange a delivery appointment. Standard freight service typically delivers your order to the curb, driveway, garage, or first dry area accessible to the carrier, depending on the carrier and delivery location. Standard freight delivery does not include placement inside your home, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packaging unless specifically stated.

Some products may offer upgraded delivery services, such as threshold, room-of-choice, or white-glove delivery. When an upgrade is available, the available service options and any additional charges will be shown at checkout.

Please make sure the phone number provided with your order is accurate and that someone is available to receive and inspect the shipment at the scheduled delivery time.
Expedited Delivery

Damages

If your order arrives damaged, submit claims within 2 days of receipt. Include photos of the unopened packaging, photos of the damage, and a copy of the signed BOL noting the damage.
Missing Items

Items shown as 'Delivered' by the carrier but are reported missing must be reported to Daniel House Club within 1 week of the delivery date as shown by the carrier.
