The Design Story

The Chameau Side Table concentrates graphic contrast into a compact 15-inch footprint, using black-and-white bone veneer to make the surface the defining design gesture. Rather than relying on color alone, the contrasting material treatment gives the table a sharper visual presence suited to interiors built around pattern, dark finishes, and disciplined monochrome moments

Beneath the visible veneer, resin and MDF are integral to the construction; the design succeeds not by pretending otherwise, but by letting the decorative bone surface remain precisely what it is—a carefully applied exterior material treatment.

At 18 inches high and just under 23.5 pounds, Chameau works as a compact sofa-side surface, drink table, or tightly scaled accent where a conventional side table would demand too much room.

Material Character

The Nature of the Piece

Chameau uses bone veneer as its visible decorative surface, introducing natural material variation within a deliberately high-contrast black-and-white palette. The veneer is incorporated with resin over an MDF construction, so the material expression should be read as a decorative skin rather than a solid-bone structure.

That distinction matters to the piece: its visual impact comes from the applied surface, while resin and engineered wood provide the supporting construction beneath it.

If your order arrives damaged, submit claims within 2 days of receipt. Include photos of the unopened packaging, photos of the damage, and a copy of the signed BOL noting the damage.

Items shown as 'Delivered' by the carrier but are reported missing must be reported to Daniel House Club within 1 week of the delivery date as shown by the carrier.
