The Design Story

An expressive floral accent chair with tailored button tufting and an architectural armless silhouette.

The Élodie brings a painterly floral composition into a compact, structured silhouette. Its armless form keeps the profile visually open, while the gently shaped back and deep button tufting give the chair a tailored presence. The attached seat cushion continues the pattern across the lower form, creating a cohesive upholstered volume rather than a collection of separate elements.

Dark espresso-finished wood legs provide a grounding contrast to the exuberant textile, balancing the chair's multicolor palette with a restrained architectural note. Designed to function as both seating and a visual accent, Élodie has enough presence to anchor a reading corner, bedroom, living room, or collected seating arrangement.

Material Character

The Nature of the Piece

The printed upholstery has a richly layered, painterly character, with varied botanical forms moving across a light ground in warm and cool tones. The expressive pattern gives the surface visual depth and makes the textile itself a defining element of the chair.

Against the colorful upholstery, the espresso-finished wood introduces a darker, more grounded material note. The combination creates contrast between the soft, patterned textile and the clean structure of the wooden base.

Additional Information

No two homes come together in quite the same way—and neither do the pieces chosen for them. Our collection brings together furnishings and objects from a variety of makers and manufacturers, each with its own production schedules, shipping methods, and delivery options.

We consider those differences part of the process of sourcing pieces with character. Whether an item arrives by parcel within days, travels by freight, or is prepared especially for your order, our focus remains the same: selecting pieces worth bringing into your home and making the journey from their source to your space as thoughtful as possible.

A well-considered home isn't assembled all at once. It takes shape piece by piece, through objects chosen not simply to fill a space, but to make that space feel like home.
